Authoring - Enabling the notification

To enable notification, a notification source should be allocated to folders and topics. This allocation behavior can be specified in the class or it can be manually indicated in the properties of the folders or the topics.

The following examples demonstrate how to enable the notification function for the ‘Encyclopedia: Encarta’ folder and its dependants. For a better understanding of the concept we have added some additional small projects named 'Project A', 'Project B', 'Project C'.
